Pros: It's Cat 6 and when punched / terminated correctly it is certifiable as a Gigabit connection.

Cons: It is a little stiff. It is solid wire with the Cat 6 Plastic core, so it will always be more stiff than Cat 5.

Overall Review: We have gone through a couple dozen boxes in Yellow, Grey and White over the past 3-4 years and I have had no issues. Not one bad run.

Other thoughts... When I read complaints about stiffness I laugh. It isn't that stiff really. We have NEVER had a problem with it coming out of the box as long as the right end of the cable is used. Yes we have had boxes fall apart - they are cardboard and a little tape worked wonders. The plastic core will be found in any Cat 6 cabling. You also want solid core wires for punch downs and even making your own patch cables unless you are really exceptional and even then the stranded wire doesn't work for punch downs. That said - yes it will be a little on the stiff side if you are used to Cat 5. The wires also seem to be a bigger gauge then some of the other wire I have had which would contribute to stiffer wire as well.

Bottom line - when price shopping it's hard to get a better product for the price.

Overall Review: Maybe I got a bad box and it was one time issue, but my box was already damaged/opened. The plastic opening out the side of the box was crecked in half so it would not stay in the cardboard opening in the side of the box, but it probably would not have mattered because the core of the box was missing its spool so the cable would not reel anyway. This is my first time working with CAT6 cable so the plastic core to prevent crosstalk threw me off, but it is VERY hard to work with. And the cable pairs themselves are VERY stiff to separate and lay flat. for those that are a little color blind, the colors are easy to distinguish. Overall I hate this cable, I really wanted yellow, but since we do not need CAT6 I will not be buying this type again. This particular box will be getting trashed. It saved me $60 from by not buying locally, but it was not worth it for me.
