Pros: - The screen speed, responsiveness and color are all very good.
- The laptop feels very well made despite being comprised of mostly plastic.
- The cooling is surprisingly efficient for the specs. GPU hovers around the low 70s and CPU around 80 under the heaviest loads.
- Lots of ports.
- RGB customizable keyboard that is also fairly comfortable to type on, and included numpad.
- 12700h and rtx 3070 (130w) are a beastly combination that have no trouble playing basically every game maxed out (aside from ray tracing). You might have to turn down some settings in some games if you want really high framerates, but that is a preference thing.
- Relatively easy to get inside and upgrade. Extra M.2 slot for a second SSD.
- 15 inch size makes it very easy to transport and fit into a backpack inconspicuously.
- 99WH battery, the biggest you can fit into a laptop that is still legally allowed on planes.
- Gen 4 NVMe SSD, very fast and capable.

Cons: - The power cord plugs into the right-middle side of the chassis, which is going to be a little annoying for any right-handed mouse users. I understand that they had to make way for the cooling in this thing somehow, but it's just not ideal.
- The RGB is only 3-zones, not individually configurable keys. Pretty standard, but for the teir of laptop this is, you might expect more.
- Can be kind of pricey, goes on sale relatively often though, so pick your timing and you can find a great discount on it.
- 16gb of ram is getting a little low for a gaming/productivity machine these days (for me) so if you work, do research and game on your laptop, maybe like to leave a lot of tabs open. you may want to upgrade to 32gb.
- The SSD is only 512gb which is not very much considering the size of games these days. Basically the first thing I did was add a second 2tb SSD.

Overall Review: Ultimately, the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop in my opinion. I was skeptical about buying it at first because it was difficult to find any credible reviews on this model, but having tried it for myself I would say its a fantastic buy, especially if you get it on a good sale, as I did.
If you want a machine that can do it all, productivity, video editing, gaming, regular laptop stuff, etc. This will be more than enough for your needs.

Cap-locks is a screen notification not button illumination

Overall Review: Ensured after buying the laptop everything was updated to the latest software including the graphics card before using it. Found it had several blue screens of death while plugged in doing light gaming. Found I could not even watch Youtube on the laptop while it was unplugged without it giving me a blue screen. Attempted to upload crash log to Gigabyte and waited 12+days without response before the final straw with the laptop. While doing more intensive gaming with the laptop plugged in I was notified of 10% battery left. I turned down all setting and put it into battery saver mode. Computer shut down within 30 seconds, Found it would no turn back on for over 20 minutes after a cooling down period (laptop turned back on with 7%).

Laptop is a reasonable price, feel as though I potentially got unlucky with the one received. Definitely not impressed with Gigabytes response time. Fear future issues with this machine, I will be returning it to replace it with a different manufacturer. If the blue screen wasn't so prevalent with this laptop I would rate it a 7/10 including the response time and price.
