I like it, it works.
Inexpensive, works with the DVD drive from my old laptop, reads discs fine.
Every disc I have tried to burn so far has failed. It will get about halfway done and then fail. I am using the same brand of blank DVDs that previously worked in my old laptop with this same DVD drive. I tried burning from ISO files as well as burning files in the UDF format to discs. They all failed to burn successfully.
I don't recommend this as I am unable to burn discs using it with my old laptop's DVD drive. If you just want to read discs, this should be fine.
