Okay but not excellent

- Affordable price for decent performance
- ADATA SSDs are well known as an aggressive 1/3 amount of capacity of SLC buffer. The writing speed of this 128 GB model showed a solid 420MB/s until it reaches the buffer size. (In my case, I had 71GB of free space after Windows installation and over-provisioning. When I copied a large folder into this drive, the blazing fast writing speed sustained until 25GB.)
- Continuous reading speed is also very good with 550MB/s.

- After the SLC buffer filled, the writing speed drastically falls to 30MB/s (more than 10 times slower than the burst speed, and a half speed of USB 3.1 gen 1 HDD). Please imagine that first 25GB writing takes 1 minute and remaining 7GB takes 3 minutes. It is annoying to see this kind of performance even though this buffer will rarely hit in everyday use.
- 4K Random read shows only 33K IOPS. Windows and program loading take little more time compared to Samsung.
- Need to create account on BOTH Adata and Acronis to get Acronis True Image license key. However, the software doesn't work with Dell Optiplex bios. It failed to migrate, and automatically rebooted the system with nothing done. Instead, I had to use a freeware Macrium Reflect for migration. Shame for a famous, bundle, licensed program.

I think that this SSD is one of the best choice in the 128GB category remained in 2017. The burst speed will be unmatched with other budget SSDs in constant low performance.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
Good price, poor quality

- budget friendly
- work well, when they work

- 60% are poor quality and are unusable after about a month

I ordered these drives to upgrade 5 laptops from rotational drives. i cloned the old drives over to the new ones and everything seemed to be working great. after about a week i started getting blue screens and when the computer would restart it would say 'no hard drive installed' if you reboot it boots no problem. it started out as spirattic and then eventually got to where it was BSOD and 'no HDD installed' about every half hour. 3 of the five i ordered have done this, i feel like it is only a short matter of time before the other two do it. HDD's were purchased end of march 2018, it is now mid june 2018. based on my experience with these drives and other ADATA hardware i cannot recommend them to anyone.
