Overall Review: I wanted to use this as a "mirror" for my photos, audio, and video files to use as backup and a portable repository. I copied and pasted files from my internal drives for several hours, transferring a TB or two, when suddenly it stopped writing with an IO error. It was noticeably warm, but not hot to the touch. I disconnected it and let it rest for 24 hours while I was doing other things. When I attempted to reconnect, Windows seemed to recognize the disk, but capacity was zero, and I couldn't access files, or even reformat. It seemed to have a partition map, but no way to access the partitions or reconstruct. I suspect if I had used it more intermittently it would have lived a long happy life.
