This drive isn't fast by Raptor or SSD standards, but it is really nice as a storage drive.

DO NOT BUY THIS HHD. Started making noise at 6 months. That was the first clue it was failing.
It didn't last 9 months and then crashed hard. I used this drive as a dedicated MS Server 2008 R2 OS drive with RAID 5 running. New ASUS P9D-MV server board, Intel Xeon E3-1220V3 Haswell 3.1GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1150 80W Server Processor and 16gb of high speed memory.
I run Seagate almost exclusively. This is very disappointing as my home servers are important for cloud work as well as personal family use. What is going on with Seagate?
