HDMI port output is HDCP compliant. Includes a VGA and DVI port used for use with multiple monitors.
Price very attractive with free shipping and fast delivery.
Low profile, low power consumption and no fan to burn out. 512mb memory.
Be advised, tried using Windows XP 64 Bits and PowerDVD 7.3 (updated) and was unable to play BD & HD-DVD using HDMI port.
Error code 0122 (not compatible graphic card or in clone monitor mode) given.
However the solution is to use Windows XP 32 Bits.
Problem went away completely and working great !
Most problems are 64 Bits related including Vista OS.
Took a day to figure out proper solution.
As stated, great card for the price and for moderate game playing. Yes, I do play PC games but not looking for the uber settings most dream of.
Some users *may* have success with 64 Bits OS's but the 32 Bits is a champ.
Functions and performs well when it works. I opted to buy the card for my HTPC configuration with a Biostar Tseries TA780G M2+. The card excels at Blue Ray playback alone and while on the web. I bought it to free up the 256mb system ram i was allocating for using the onboard integrated Radeon HD 3200 which BTW worked flawlessly with a 100% reliability for a little over a year now..
Cant comment on its gaming performance cuz i dont engage in gaming and its not what the card is for anyway in my opinion.
Simply said i gave it 3 eggs cuz the card presently does not seem to be recognized 50% of the time on boot-up by the Bios, rsulting in no display w/ vga or dvi port. And expectedly so when this happens Windows XP x86 will not load.. I hav to pwr-off completely, 15-20 secs, power on again and the card will then give me a display and follow by booting/loading windows. Havnt tried the hdmi port yet.
I'm using the latest Catalyst CC Bundle (10.2) with the card. I may uninstall and try what came on the Install CD.
Possibly flashing my bios to the latest ver. may fix the issue. I'm working with Sapphire Tech Support to determine if the card is at fault. I also hav a Tseries TA790GX-XE MB which i'll try the card out on to see if i get the same issues and i'll report back here later with an update post.
This has just been my experience with the card so far. I was having no issues prior with my 780G onboard Radeon HD3200 and had verified previously that the PCIE x 16 2.0 compliant slot functioned okay shortly aftr purchasing the board a little over a year ago..
