Foxconn P45A-S LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I hit 3.6 with my q6600 stable thanks to new bios update. Read my prior posts. This will be my last one on the board I promise lol.

Cons: Prior stuff, cmos switch location.

Overall Review: There is a bios update out for this board now (use fox liveupdate). Shut off anti-virus and other memory hogging programs when you do a bios update in vista to be safe. It is essential you download this bios update if you want to go past 3.5ghz (allows to go over 30 steps to 61-62 now). Other improvements are probably mem compatibility issues. People who gave up on this board should have just waited for the bios update before calling it quits.

Pros: Ok Layout. Good manual and easy to understand. Thanks to the Eggcellent RMA process newegg has I am returning it and getting another mobo. I have always used Asus and gugabyte, but i thiught of giving Foxcomnn a try. Unfortunately it did not work to my specs.

Cons: Tried two name brand memory modules in dual channel and the motherboard would not boot. User the same memory in single channel and work with no problems. e-mail FoxConn. No new Bios and FoxConn cust. service kept trying to put it on my side. No good for a first time contact.
