- Amazing airflow, on par with the Fractal Torrent
- Tons of 140mm support
- Great aesthetics
- Excellent value
- Top fill port, for those doing custom waterloops
- Also plenty of space at the bottom for a pump/res combo
- Will support pretty much any size motherboard (my 280mm EATX Z690 Classified fit like a glove, you could fit something slightly longer, if you're ok with it hanging over the edge and or removing the grommet bar)
- Tons of cable management
- Tons of extra screw, and that screw case was a nice touch
- Overall tons of customization (I was able to move the front IO to bottom, and swap the logo)
- Dual 140mm bottoms fans are possible, but you'll only be able to screw in 2 of the fan holes
- 420mm rad support listed in the manual is a bit misleading...
Few things to note for when you're building with this:
- The back is tempered glass, so I advise removing it before laying it sideways (pretty easy, just slide it upwards)
- 420mm rad support is listed as possible in the manual for the top...
They're technically not wrong, however I barely got my 420mm Arctic AIO on the top. Doing so required moving the front IO to the bottom, removing all front fans, and removing the rear fan. You won't be able to fit a rear fan doing this, so I advise using bottom fans. I was able to reattach front fans afterwards. I had to slide in the rad from the front and screw it onto the top mount. I wasn't able to line up all screws to mount the AIO, so this was kind of a hacky solution. I would not call this native 420mm rad support at all.
If you do this, you won't be able to access your CPU 8pins or any fan headers at the top of your MOBO. Taller RAM modules might interfere with this, but Corsair Vengeance DDR5 sticks was able to fit.
- Regarding the dual 140mm bottom fans... (I had no problem fitting them, but you'll only be able to screw in two of the fan holes)
Lots of configuration options.
Nice panels for hiding wiring.
Compatable with the LianLi vertical GPU mount.
I opted for the Corsair AIO w/ a 420mm rad & (3x140mm fans). Case specs state it'll work on the top or the front. I found that every possible combination resulted in some other conflicts of other components. Each location/orientation means changing up 24 screws, so this can be time consuming.
When mounting it up front, the fan/rad/bracket assembly hit the frontmost HDD cage. When reversing the bracket it wouldn't allow the front grill to be attached. Another combination resulted in it impacting the front control panel. Another resulted in the bracket
When mounting it up top I had similar experiences, but eventually opted to ditch the rear exhaust fan to have the tubes drop down from the top rear of the case.
A similar issue arose when mounting my power supply. This time it impacted the rearmost HDD cage. I had 3 spinner HDDs that I was bringing forward from my previous build, and ended up ditching a cage and just going with the larger two drives instead. I may consider 3D printing a PSU mount extension so I can secure the PSU while it sticks out the back of the case by 1-1.5" to regain use of the rear-most HDD cage.
Other issues:
The LianLi fans don't jive with the corsair's AIO fan control module without RGB wire adapters. I've got them on order - hopefully they work.
The wire-hiding panels do limit the paths for wiring and this will also require me to buy longer cables for attaching the PSU to the motherboard and CPU.
The AIO debacle made this build take longer than any other build I've ever done - including one with a custom water loop.
The case is well designed with many nice features and an excellent look & feel.
If you want this case w/ an AIO, suggest going with the smaller 360mm radiator.
Also, when considering the PSU size and alotted space, also consider the PSU wires as they do take some space for a proper bend radius which can interfere with the rear HDD cage.
