MSI Z270-A PRO LGA 1151 Intel Z270 USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: First off, I'm not a big OVERCLOCKER, ill up speeds a bit, but not much. I'm not into burning up my equiptment sooner then normal so I can get 10 more frames a second. Board is 8+2 power phase, not the best for high speed over clocking. But fine for a clocker like me
-if you want a fast board that has ALL the goodies, with out the plastic covers, paint scheme and led light show, this board rocks !
- Ill never run SLI, I can barely afford the one good card, let alone 2. But it still has 2x pcie lanes for video cards a 8x each
-I like a clean looking rig, and this board is perfect. I have led fans and led memory sticks, I don't need all the LED's on the board too (although this board does have led for the sound chip area that is adjustable ...mine is breathing, looks good)
-Board fired up first boot, recognized DDR4 3200 mem, set up my i5-7600k no problems.
-Compared to my old Z77 /i5 3270 rig...this board is FAST !
- Again, you get all the high end options, with out the expensive bling (if money/performance is your bench mark...this board is A+. If Bling and show are your thing, there's other more expensive boards)
- Only 1 M2 connect??...so, ill never have more then 1 SSD or M2 Memory board anyway. If you plan on filling a bunch of M2 slots, get another board. If your like me, more then one is a waste.
-Plenty of 4 pin fan headers, all controllable....3.1 USB, Optane ready, DDR boost and excellent sound,...water pump connection...64 mg mem,...DDR3800 compatable...MSI reliability....AND the latest Z270 chip set!!!
-this board has EVERY option you could want...unless more pcie slots, m2 slots and running your cpu at 5.0 MHz is what you want
-HIGHLY recommend board to price conscious, performance minded individuals who aren't looking to start their cpu on fire
- Ordered on Monday, arrived Thur. I order all my comp equiptment from new egg, have been for years, great service and prices

Cons: -as one reviewer wrote, board does hang over my stand post a bit more then I like on the one side. DEFINATELY support the back side of board when plugging your main power to board and SAT connections. I don't think it would break, but it does "give" more then I'm comfortable with. Only an issue when plugging in main power connector. GPU slot is very secure and shielded
- Had to update LAN and Audio drivers to get them working correctly...easy thou with update program
-That's it, all i could nit pick.

Overall Review: For $114, you cant beat this for a very good home computer, and a VERY good gaming computer, And the latest chip set. BLING it doesn't have, everything else it does...
