Super hard drive

Very small, ultra quiet, and fast. I am impressed with HGST's (Western Digital) tech support. Before I purchased this I wanted to know the cache size (16MB). They had a toll free number, answered and forwarded me to tech support in less than 2 minutes, and of course answered my question.

None...I highly recommend this drive

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
Flaky when connected to USB 3.0

Compact enclosure, fast drive

Glossy black piano finish is a fingerprint magnet and scuffs easily, lackluster USB 3.0 connectivity

When connected to USB 3.0 the drive will randomly disconnect every couple of minutes and will eventually ask if you want to format it. If you press cancel you can still access the drive and the data is intact until it disconnects again.

I have two other USB 3.0 ext hdd's that do not exhibit this behavior.
