Very Solid Case

- Lots of Space
- Solid Build Quality
- Huge Side Window
- Moveable Hard Drive Cages
- SSD Mounts
- Water Cooling Capability

- Side Panels are a little difficult to put on
- Front dust filter doesn't fit well
- Front fan mounts are difficult

This case has a lot of room, is rather heavy, and is very solid. The side window is very large, almost a little too large, you have to be very careful where you hide cables. The moveable hard drive cages make the front of this case very versatile. The four SSD mounts behind the hard drive cages not only make great use of space, but also make your build look even cooler. They do make it difficult to plug power into the SSDs though. This case has a lot of potential for water cooling as well; radiators can fit in the front, the top, the bottom, and event the rear. Plus there is plenty of other room for reservoirs and pumps. Now for my complaints. I really wish the side panels were easier to put on. They are easy to put on when the case is on it's side, but standing up, you need one arm to hold it in place, a second arm to push the panel closed, and a third arm to put the thumb screws in. My front dust filter is bowed out in the center, which makes it a little useless and a little difficult to insert. My last complaint is that the front fan mounts are a little picky. While very easy to mount, the screws are very short and when I tried to install a different fan (I was hoping to get a LED glow out the front, didn't work), they ended up not being long enough. I fixed this by drilling out the fan, letting the head of the screw sit about half way into the fan. The screws did work fine for the Corsair fans that came in the front though.

Overall, this is a very solid case with plenty of room and expandability. I really like the quality of this case.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
Beautiful case, poor design.

1. Looks beautiful.
2. Easy to open and access the inside components.
3. Panels feel sturdy and slide off easily enough when putting the computer together.

1. The way the hard drive docks are set up makes it impossible to close the panel. There's not enough room for the power cables to go in and still be able to close the panel as there's no leeway.
2. The HDDs go in backwards so you can't see the label. I'm not sure how else you remember which is which when you have multiple HDDs in. The little hard drive holders that slide in/out of the case are nice and at first i thought they were pretty neat until i noticed the other issues.

I love how the case looks, it feels solid, and being able to open the side panels quickly is also really handy. If you don't have an HDDs then this case is great.

Looking around online, other folks have gotten around the issue by just not using the hard drive docks and placing the hard drives in the front. That's an option, but for such an expensive case i don't want to have to do that. I bent the SATA power cable as much as i could for the bottom HDD and used the flat end for the top one. I also had to use flat SATA cables instead of the L-shaped ones as the L-shaped ones don't fit either.

As it is, the panel closes on the top but not the bottom, but i think it's as good as it's gonna get. It's a shame because it's a lovely case. I'd probably give it more 3.5 eggs as it's not the end of the world, but it's enough that it bothers me each time i look at it so there you go. Perhaps when it comes time to retire these HDDs and i've switched everything over to NVMe sticks i can be 100% happy with it.
