AMD Ryzen 7 2700X AMD50 Gold Edition 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 YD270XBGAFA50 Desktop Processor

Pros: Free games, was going to buy the games it came with and this just made it easy to buy chip. I like the 50th Anniversary mile stone for AMD, just wished they would have help back binned chips for this release. Was able to get it higher than my previous 2700x (which now is in my sons rig). That went to 4.2 all core on water and this one hits 4.325 all core. So, yeah..... nothing to exciting.

Cons: Not a binned chip... I guess that's a con???? :P

Pros: Works on Auto, but only with ram turned down.

Cons: Doesn't OC past 4.15Ghz (At 1.4V haha) And really needs 1.385V to even get 3950mhz OC fully stable.

Chip really only is fully stable on auto. I couldn't get it to stay fully stable even with LLC 3 & 1.4 Vcore at 4.15Ghz.

Performance on Auto is below that of my 1700x @ 3.9Ghz

This chip can literally not even hit the factory 4.35Ghz claimed boost clock. Under a sustained single core load, the chip stays at 3.9-4.025Ghz with a liquid cooler. It doesn't reach 4.3Ghz boost at basically any time other than on IDLE.
Any load on any core will not make this chip hit its advertised clockspeeds.

Fps lower in games than my 1700x @ 3.9.

Overall Review: You get a t-shirt with it (if you claim it and it actually does arrive).
Otherwise there are no other bonuses really that you should care about.

I'm returning mine because its overall not only not worth it and doesn't hit advertised 4.3Ghz boost speeds.
