This works for me. There is no high power output over USB-C, just USB 3.0 speeds all around, but that's what I expected. The device is for an older computer that only had USB 2.0. There is an internal header, and a SATA power connection. This gives me USB 3.0 type A plugs on my case exterior. It's just what I was needing.
