We own 40 or so of these now, they're simple and very functional. I bought several different types of HDD protector cases before settling on these; they stack very nicely and securely, open easily and the hinge is robust. A couple of the others I tried had their hinges fail before very long. We don't open and close these a TON but I think they could handle it if you did. They claim to be anti-static and I have no reason not to believe that, but I do tend to put the drives in an anti-static bag inside the case too. Just for good measure! Anyway, they are great and we'll continue to use them.

About as simple as it gets. Sturdy metal, nicely finished in black powder coat. No thin, protruding tabs to bend or strip. Fit my Samsung 840 EVO precisely. Screws were included to mount the drive and the bracket but the latter weren't needed since my case uses tool-less caddies.

Easy to install and doesn't require extra drive trays. I was pleased that it installed in my Dell GX620 SMT which has a front drive panel. My older StarTech removeable bays are too wide to fit behind the panel.
