Great product !!! 9.8 of 10 Work with the All server OS & Nas Os ,Windows Server ,TrueNas, Linux , Open Media Vault , Ubuntu Server ,Rockstor....etc. No need for Graphics Card and you can control it remotely even turn on and off ! :) no need for monitor , and does not consume a lot of power .Its work 24/7 Price Vs performance 10 of 10 .........very fast ....and .powerful ...nice Asrock !!
It's a real beast! Works with my AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX (also from Newegg) veeeeeery well. Note: - You have to upgrade BIOS to 2.a, otherwise can not boot. - It's cheaper than ASUS WRX80E-SAGE Pro, and I have to say, BETTER! - Too difficult to use ASUS WRX80E-SAGE Pro, which needs a BIOS updating too. However, I couldn't get ASUS BIOS Flash button & IPMI BIOS Flashing work. To verify these, I wasted money on SAGE MB, another 3955WX CPU and 8 x Crucial 16GB RAMs which are listed by ASUS. Good luck!
Lots of Expansion Lots of power Lots of CPU and Memory
everything works great
I went with an i7-13700k as I heard there were power limitations on the upper end of the i9-13900k(s) variations. This thing is fast, stable (ECC helps), and has lots of expansion compared to its x12 predecessor. I am using both the onboard ASPEED and Intel iGPU by setting Max TOLUD to between 1-2GB and enabling onboard as default video.
This is great little server board for Xeon E series processors. Supermicro boards have been easy for me to set up and this one is, too. It’s nice to have m.2 and be able to use ECC memory.
sooo nice of a motherboard. i needed boar to handle 128GB DDR4 ECC and posibility to go to 256GB DDR4 ECC bought hynix 128GB DDR4 ECC (16GBx8). Primary OS Adata 128GB SSD. secondary 2TB SSHD by seagate. i tried to use Corsair H60i radiaor with it, but alas, the heatsink bolt pattern was different :( wen to Dollar General, bought a hard rubber called "Rubber Tie-Downs with hooks". matched it to bolt patterns, cut it accordingly, poked hold in the rubber to go on bolts and Voila!!! H60i is now installed. its not letting the temp go beyond 44 degrees.however i moued the radiator on the rear using the exit flow fan plus the includd fan probably thats why its running cold..
