Bought to use in my companies HP Proliant DL380p G8 server for back ups. Its FAST and the xfer speed doesnt fall off after a while like with some other 3.0 controllers. I had to make my own internal power cable for the server. But I knew I would have to do that. It works perfectly. Now my .vhdx transfers go at least 100 times faster than with the server's built in 2.0 ports. Works perfectly with Win Server 2012 R2, it auto installed and worked right off the bat. I will be buying two more of these for my other servers.
