I bought a 24 port gigabit copper switch and a 24 port CAT6 patch panel for my home LAN. These fit perfectly between the two on a 4U 19" rack, They don't need any cable management as they don't stick way out or hang down.

Good value for the money. There's no reason to have to spend a lot of money on Ethernet cables but you do have to pay attention to quality. All the StarTech cables are good quality for the money. My go-to cables.

Right length, right throughput.

White color runs up against baseboards nicely. It's a 35 ft gigabit cord and it's dirt cheap. What else is there? It's fairly flexible compared to other cords I work with.
