Plugged in and my FreeBSD 13 install was immediately able to detect my SATA drives. These cables plugged into a LSI 9300-16i which requires SFF-8643. Cables are long, flexible, unlike the typical SATA cables you get with your motherboard, which are thick, hard to bend or twist around corners in your workstation. These felt like fiber optic cables.
