works as advertised
Runs and charges a 2012 MacBook Air using any USB-C PD adapter that is capable of 20V/2.3A (45 watt or higher), and 2017 15" MacBook Pro with a more powerful adapter (85 watts or higher). The cable reports itself as an 85W MagSafe adapter (see screenshot). Definitely does what it says! Not all similar items do :(
It does the job. It's long, it fits, it seems of decent quality. I assume the advertised power ratings are good as I haven't had any issues while using it.
It's a power cord, it does what a power cored usually does.
I am using these in a server rack where I only need a VERY short power cable. It's a very basic product, but does a good job as a power cable.
Overkill on what I need, no doubts that this is enough to handle whatever your computer requires.
This basic cable gets 5 eggs for the simple reason that it was in a plain coil. Not folded or squeezed up so that it would not lay straight. I hate cables and cords that end up with permanent kinks and bends in the wrong place or don't wrap up cleanly because they were stored incorrectly by the manufactures. Bonus points for the plain zip-lock bag packaging.
Great cord. Purchased this to connect a 40 inch LCD TV to my computer's video card as a second monitor. While product was in transit, I managed to connect the LCD TV to my computer via a combination of an extension cord and a shorter standard computer power cord. Fortunately, when the product arrived I had to use it to connect a third ASUS monitor to my PC since the standard computer cord supplied with the monitor was too short.
10 whole feet of computer plug in power!
Excellent customer service, product as described in good condition and well packed, shipped on time. highly recommended
! ft long and provides power to my Panasonic Plasma Monitor! Not really high tech!
Superb quality.
This is a weird plug (to me) that I needed for my Miele built-in espresso machine (CVA-4062). At first I thought it was a proprietary Miele part, but when I did a web search, I found this cable. It does what it's supposed to: engages solidly, feels secure, no looseness. It feels relatively heavy duty (4/5). Considering how expensive Miele parts are ($22 for a 1 cm diameter silicone ring, $150 for a 4 x 12" thin gauge stamped steel plate, $1000 for the front bezel with no electronics), I'm glad I found this!
Great material and works well.
Great price. Of course Newegg shipped it practically the same minute I ordered it.
