Long, locks the cable to motherboard/hard drive.

Defiantly does what I need it to do. I love the latch feature.

If your motherboard has stacked SATA connectors, get these cables. This is the only cable that I could find that works well with stacked SATA connectors. The latching clips are not needed inside a computer. They just get in the way. I feel that you can damage a stacked connector when using cables with clips. Also the heads on these cables are compact which helps with stacked connecters. The quality of the cable is very high. I have bought 10 of these for two different computers, and there were no defects. They come in six sizes (6, 8, 12, 18, 24, and 36 in).

And I should know because I'm the doctor. These reach just fine from the back of the 8 HD's I have in my case to the Mother Board. Some might be just a bit tight, but they hold okay, and I see no stress points. They cleaned up my server case and the NAS box I've built so the airflow is now excellent. Another thing I like about these is that they are rather stiff but pliant. So not only do they not sag, but they also hold whatever shape I give them, so they go straight into the MB and straight into the back of the drives with whatever curves and other lines needed to get them to line up. Also, the clips (latches) are not overly stiff, so they tend to stay plugged in, and when I want to unplug them, they come loose just fine.

These solved a maddening problem with my LIAN LI PC-A41B mini-tower computer case where each set of HDD SATA data and power connections must be accessed through its own rectangular hole in the drive cage.

What can I say about a simple power plug adapter? It is well made and highly useful. Ended a big deficiency problem with my power supply SATA connections. Super good price and shipping speed. Thanks NewEgg!
