- literally plug the cables into the appropriate spots, the lights come on and it starts working. Does exactly what I wanted it to.

I'm new to the Ubiquity ecosystem.. But after having used routers and switches from Netgear, TP-Link, QNap, Eero, Asus, and some others I care not to remember, every single piece of Unifi gear stands heads and shoulders above the rest. Just the user interface along justifies going with Unifi. None of the above can touch them with a 10-foot pole. This switch has everything you could want on a POE+ powered switch with five 10 GbE ports (RJ45 mind you) and a 1 GbE POE port. It integrated into my network in seconds, and automatically showed up. So easy to manage.

Small foot print, managed, and gigabit.

- Full 2.5gbps speed on all ports! - It does the job without any compromise. I've saturated the 2.5gb ports many times and it performs well.

- good throughput - excellent quality - just works

- Highly compatible - Stable - Good packaging - Standard and low profile mounting brackets - Lifetime warranty

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

you can log in to thing to change settings I left the default settings and just plugged it in- and it works great Problem I had is when I switched from one router to this router, my devices were detected but not functioning, i tried everything nothing worked, until I just reset my devices (turn off power and back on), then new addresses were assigned and it worked. The problem was with me, not this router. So ya, it works great, now I don't even think about it. This is just a link to my system, it does channel a bunch of info but the PoE switch does al the work

Dual network ports over RJ45. Backwards compatible with FE and GE (100Mbps and 1Gbps) Comes with standard and low profile brackets No drivers needed for VM Ware ESXi (5.5.0 u2 tested), Citrix XenServer (7.2 and 7.3 tested)

Second one. Perfect size for add-on ports. Works great with laptop and desktop. Pwr light is neat addition.

The TP-LINK TL-SG108E seems to be a well-built switch with an option to operate as a managed switch. The box contains the switch, AC adaptor, quick start guide, a resource cd, and stick-on rubber feet. The switch has a metal frame and measures 6.2”x4”x1”. If you want to run this as an 8-port Gigabit switch just plug it in and go. However, if you want to configure it to act as a managed switch, complete with V-Lans, trunk groups, port mirroring, and DHCP just pop in the cd and install the included management software. The TP-Link “Easy Smart Configuration Utility” has a nice interface and functions well. Speeds test well and I have not experienced any issues with this switch during my initial testing.

Nice looking. light. Works as designed. desktop switch is not some kind of high-tech, should be working like your toaster. Plug and play.
