Inexpensive on sale; really inexpensive if rebate comes through. Low power gigabit switch. And VLAN support, which was a trigger. Only 5 ports, but that was sufficient, just, for what I needed.

So far, fast and consistent. Added no measurable latency to gaming. Relatively inexpensive for what it is.

If set up right, there should be virtually 0 packet loss. You are given more options on how to route Ethernet through your home. With gigabit connection speeds, you can hook up multiple computers to a single powerline and get Ethernet anywhere on the same power grid. It feels like I should also mention how each of these adapter pairs have separate encryption. I haven't tested it myself, but it's likely you can have multiple of these on the same power grid.

Pros: Affordable smart switch Sturdy metal case Includes rubber 'feet' for table mounting GOOD PRICE Energy smart. Fast, smart routing of net traffic.

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

Works in any size PCI-Express slot despite its small size. Intel's PRO Set driver suite allows for detailed customization of features.

- Full 2.5gbps speed on all ports! - It does the job without any compromise. I've saturated the 2.5gb ports many times and it performs well.

you can log in to thing to change settings I left the default settings and just plugged it in- and it works great Problem I had is when I switched from one router to this router, my devices were detected but not functioning, i tried everything nothing worked, until I just reset my devices (turn off power and back on), then new addresses were assigned and it worked. The problem was with me, not this router. So ya, it works great, now I don't even think about it. This is just a link to my system, it does channel a bunch of info but the PoE switch does al the work

easy to setup and use!

1.Easy to install. 2.Came with bracket for low profile case. 3.Does its job, even without install disk. Would not say to leave it out though.

Metal case. Very compact for a 10-port switch - I really like how small it is. I plugged in 10Gbps SFTP and 2.5Gbps devices and tested throughput. It moved 2.36Gbps between two 2.5Gbps ports and 9.39Gbps between two SFTP ports. In comparison, the same test (using iperf3 in Linux) between two SFP ports on my more-expensive Aruba switch gives the same 9.39Gbps. I was pleasantly surprised to see a "VLAN" switch on the front. The product description does not mention this.
