-Looks Nice. -Blue LEDs are subtle -2' cord is perfect length for my need -Does charge my mouse -Great value
On "Jiggle" mode you don't see anything moving and you can work normally (or not!) and the screen will stay active. Works like a charm.
Dual input 100-240VAC 12VDC 2.5A power supply or (12 x 2.5 = 30 Watts). That’s one beefy power supply for a USB hub, USB 3.0 is capable of 150ma and 900ma at 5 V so technically it’s capable of delivering _almost_ enough power to power every USB device up to 900ma. Realistically, there are few devices that use this much, but it is really unlikely this hub is going to have problems delivering what you need. LEDs! Yes there is a power LED, this is something that isn't done much in my experience, but really useful as I do have this thing plugged into a power strip which sometimes gets shut off by wandering feet or small children. This can help you answer the question in a glance; is it plugged in? Also when you plug in a device, a LED illuminates over the port to tell you it’s active. It comes with a USB 3 Micro-B to Type A connector (standard USB) cable which is good because the 3.0 standard hasn't been around that long that many people don’t have a bunch of these cables hanging around. It successfully detected everything I plugged in.
I liked the ample length of the cables.
Nice and simple to set up. Very shiny. Comes with heavy duty USB cord specially configured to keep power and data separate. Has a button to turn charging socking power on and off. Handles all my USB devices including synthesizers and MIDI controllers. Blue light on each socket indicates when data or power is transferring.
Good mini size dock. Charging well without heating up. Multiport for mouse, pen drives, keyboards.
Nice compact USB Hub
This unit is very portable and does not heat up (like many others). Has a control light telling you it is on.
USB C Port speed seems good, I was only able to test with a M.2 USB C SSD enclosure I had laying around. Got read speeds up to 880 Megabytes per second (around 7000 Megabits per second)
- USB 3.0 (2 USB-A/2 USB-C) - Smooth, spartan looks - Makes use of empty 3.5" drive bay in old HP case - Easy install - Quality design/material - Comes with mounting screws - Connects to 19-pin USB 3.0 MB connector to a USB-A connector on unit - Utilizes SATA for extra power
Lightweight. Compact. Four USB 3.0 ports. Dimensions and construction allow for easy insertion / removal but hold tightly. Did I mention inexpensive?
Works as advertised
-Powered, can be used as a charger without attachment to computer -Buttons two switch individual ports on and off -Has worked flawlessly connected to both Dell and Apple laptops
- Powered by USB A and not C or external power supply. - Small form factor. - Cheap!
