4 POE ports Gb ports + 4 normal Gb ports, low power usage, and silent. Exactly what you would expect. Powers up a Cisco phone as well as two POE Network security cams no problem. According to kill-a-watt it uses much less power to power things via POE as opposed to power bricks.

40 POE+ and 8 POE++ ports 4 10Gib SPF+ ports Layer 3 features Quiet fans

Small/efficient design Flexible PoE output

2.5Gbs speed from my router to the rest of my home network.

has port mirroring capability's. work well with wire shark for network traces. Small compact does gigabit Ethernet.

I plugged it into the network after my modem to split the line for a new run. I didn't reboot anything and everything was running exactly as it was before. Thats a modem, a router, a VOIP router and 3 running PCs, all needed nothing for it to work. Speed tests are exactly the same before and after. Talk about plug and play...High operating temp specification (122F) means it should be fine in my attic . Other switches have a lower operating temp and shorter MTBF (114 years for this one)

I renewed my network with all Unifi, and it all works great! 6 of these switches, 5 UAP AC PRO wifi access points, USG, and CloudKey. Finally installed ethernet through the house, to take advantage of gigabit FiOS, and wired everything except mobile devices and stuff without ethernet connections.

Gigabit Ethernet for cheap. It's perfect for connecting my HTPC and gaming consoles to my Wirless N router / Internet service.

Cheap and runs fast n cool. I have a HP Procurve 8 port and wanted to expand network so this thing does the job.
