Does what it claims! I was having trouble getting my 2015 Macbook Air to run at above 1920 x 1080 using a Mini-Displayport to HDMI adapter. Im using an LG 29UM57-P Display (21:9 Aspect Ratio 2560 x1080 no Displayport plugged in this cable and it immediately recognized at 2560 X 1080 @60hz. Im quite pleased makes a great cable for those who are creating a docking station for a Macbook Air.

Bought this to run signal from a PC to a Mid-2010 iMac 27". I'm one of the lucky ones that can use the iMac's screen in Target Display Mode as a PC monitor before Apple required Thunderbolt with newer iMacs. Works perfectly. Connected to my motherboard's Displayport port, connected to the miniDisplayport port on the iMac and as long as the PC is on, I'm using Windows 10. I plan on using this cable with future monitors. Sturdy, well made, seems to be a grade above the bargain basement stuff.
