Wifi Built in

initally after building it out i flipped the switch and nothing. i troublshooted several things. and still nothing. i even posted a DOA on newegg but today 1dec24 138pm dst. i looked again at 1 issue a 3rd time and corrected something. i am embarassed to say what it was but i corrected it. replugged some components i had previously unplugged and FLIPPED the swich and an OH MY G-D MOMENT OCCURED.! lights fans and after it shutoff briefly and on again SCREEN DISPLAY!. even a multiple times pc builder lik me can F_UP. AND just as an apologetic it took me about 25 hours partially because i kept running into issues mostly fitting components to tower. AND though i had lots of fun doing it it did take me 25hours probably a little less to build the thing. in my defense i was adding components that i was not familiar with and therefore took longer to make do. ... i coulod go on and on and on even making a fool of myself. if i havent already. when i mess up i admit it. and i did. and i corrected it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> IN CONCLUSION the ASUS PRIME line of mobos does not disappoint specifically the asus prime Z890M-plus WIFI

Easy to set up Good manual Snazzy lights Built-in back plate Lots of fan connectors Nice BIOS, easy to configure overclocking for those unfamiliar with it and has an advanced section with tons of options for those who know what they are doing. Great fan control options in BIOS Support for XMP memory profiles

Easy to install Durable Lots of ports

This is the second of these boards that I have used to build a system with -- it's hard to beat for the price. I used G-Skill Trident Z5 RGB memory modules and it's good to go.

z890 Aorus Elite WiFi7 w/Core Ultra 7 265k Both great I/O and internal connections, 1 USB-C/Thunderbolt, 5 USB 3.2 and 4 2.0 USB on the rear IO panel, not to mention however many extra you plug into the front connectors, built-in RGB LED's are nice, bright and add appeal even before in, I MUST be losing my mind because after doing BIOS updates HWInfo64 shows the motherboard is in the quad-channel memory setting, which I haven't heard anything about in the last 10 years or so and thought it was dead and gone. So a VERY pleasant surprise that not only am I upgrading from DDR4 3600Mhz ram to DDR5 6000 Mhz, but swapping from dual-channel to quad as soon as I get 2 additional sticks of DDR5 ram

Nice features Very good looking

Dual LAN on a <$200 Z390. It has it's niche use, but it is being put to good use for my brother's computer. Wish other boards out there have this option without going into the $300 price point. Sleek clean finish on this board. Going into a black case with tempered glass side panels. It looks amazing. Maintaining high overclock on 4 x 8GB DDR4 RAM.

What more could you want in a motherboard? Everything is as described. Just FYI, if using a ram kit with 2 sticks, dims A2, B2 first for xmp to work properly. Using A1, B1 caused blue screens, I read manual and realized I made a mistake. All good now.

Case is awesome, removable side panels make things really accessible during and after build.

- No issues with bios update or installation

- Clean layout makes for an easy build, very DIY friendly - ASUS quality - More audio ports on the back I/O panel than most - Up to 3 video ports, with Thunderbolt/DisplayPort adapter - All the features most of us will ever need

As usual, at least in my experience, ASUS products have been solid performers. I use ASUS motherboards in all my computer builds, never had one mal-function.

The motherboard is built and designed well and was easy to install.

super easy to install M2 drives, nice to have the heatsinks built in. great UEFI for OC

-Arrived well. No issues. Thank you.

- Easy to setup and posted successfully. - MSI has great BIOS interface to make customization easy.
