The U7 Pro Max works as expected. I plugged them into my network via POE, adopted them within the console, and waited for updates. No issues. FYI, real-world coverage is closer to 1000 sq ft versus 1500.

Simple design, setup, easy to adopt into your network. Perfect for that one out of the way room or corner that never gets good reception. Support 802.11ac. If you are already in the Ubuiti ecosystem then get this for your small indoor WAP needs.

- Good WAP overall - The range covers all my house (1 floor). - The speed is good (sufficient for me) - Plug and play - Reliable for the few moths Ive been using it

easy to adopt (if you have a controller) Handles currently 25 devices with very low incidents.

Good zone of coverage; Can be used as a VOIP phone jack (it has an FXS port); Can stand on a desk, or be mounted to a wall.

Great AP, nice install with PoE that included power injector. We get solid dual-band wifi now. The separate controller software can easily manage multiple AP units, it's designed to handle large enterprise set ups. You can export the configuration and save/reinstall later as needed. There is a lot of community support available.

I was intimidated by the sophistication of the TP-Link Omada WiFi infrastructure. Instead, this unit came configured out-of-the-box as a single access point bridging its WiFi network to the wired LAN. There was no complexity and no port forwarding for external access. I used the TP-Link TL-SF1005P PoE switch to power it and the port priority feature of the switch.

- Easy setup process. I set it up as standalone without an Omada controller personally since it's home use and I only have one, but it can be done either way

Worked right out of the box. Very easy setup. GUI navigation is simple and intuitive. Performance is as advertised. Excellent value.
