bought this to replace my old 750GB WD HDD I was using for data backups. this is much faster, & I uninstalled the external SATA card I had for accessing my 750GB external drive. shaves several seconds off boot times, the system would always display a splash screen while checking the internal SATA card. running this drive in an external USB 3.0 enclosure. got the SSD drive on sale, can't go wrong with Samsung solid state drives. rockin' a 1TB NVMe Samsung drive as my main. am very happy with all my Samsung drives.
