I upgraded my Synology NAS with these drives. They werent on Synologys compatible list, but I used them anyway. I trust the WD Red brand. Ive been using the Red brand for 10 years with no data loss. Only time will tell if these new drives hold up. They seem zippy. I got a great price from NewEgg, so I would definitely recommend them.

It came bubble wrapped in a box that was bubble wrapped in another box. It is a new drive and works great. Speed seems like my other drives.

- Barracuda quality - good price - fast shipping

Worked right out of the box. Great price. Lots of storage space. Normal form factor (not bigger than any other HDD in my server)

Non so far

Yay, fast-ish drives with 64 MB of cache! Great for a NAS/Enclosure

- Fast for Magnetic Drive - Quiet

240+MiB/s sequential write speed while connected to a USB3 dock. Came very well packaged.

These drives have worked flawlessly with a lsi 9260-4i and an intel sas expander. The drives in RAID 6 run at about 200 MegaBytes per second (probably would be faster if there wasn't a bottleneck in the sas expander from it running 16 other drives).

More storage space

One of largest drives on the market. Meant for 24/7 operation. Quiet. Works well in my NAS. No errors found on drive.

Despite R_Volution not listing these drives as recommended for their players; they have been working fine on my 8K Pro player.

- fast memory - affordable - reliable

Good price, good speeds

Works great (so far). 200MB/s throughout with my other red nas pro drive.

Reliable Cost less than WD drives

Good performance for 7200 RPM drives Mostly silent operation Running 24/7 in RAID 1 without issues Good value at 350USD each (you may find a different price) CMR technology, 5-year warranty

Arrived 2 days early, came in a retail box with mounting screws. It is now chugging along happily in a Linux media server 24/7.

Easy to install

- Great price for a good deal of storage - Initialized quickly
