This is my second Barracuda. My first has been running 24/7 since early August with no problem whatsoever. I am using this one for backups.

Crazy reliable.

240+MiB/s sequential write speed while connected to a USB3 dock. Came very well packaged.

One of largest drives on the market. Meant for 24/7 operation. Quiet. Works well in my NAS. No errors found on drive.

Very quiet, fast and reliable

ordered over the holidays and received it in a couple of days

Easy to install. Very fast with 512 cache. Works great. No noise when I use. Very nice.

Installed in DS423+ NAS and they work fine so far. Great price.

Good performance for 7200 RPM drives Mostly silent operation Running 24/7 in RAID 1 without issues Good value at 350USD each (you may find a different price) CMR technology, 5-year warranty

Great price Fir the size

I bought this to clone and replace the same (with the same item number) that had been running in a computer mostly always on for five years. (To the day, as it happens. I write the installation date of a hard drive on its label, so I'll know.) Turns out an issue, I think, was on the motherboard, and I swapped components to a replacement same model "refurbished" basic unit. After five years dependable use, I decided switching to use the new hard drive was a wiser move than pushing my luck, and retired the five year old. But the retired drive will still be useable stand-by, if needed in the future. Five years. Impressive. I tend to stick with the Seagate brand. Bought quite a few for various computers over many years. Having a problem with one so rare I cannot remember when and what for the last one.

Unpack, install, and format with ease. I have 2 running in Raid 0 for a simple home raid system with windows 10. Surprising super fast with read/writes over my old drives that were in raid.

Quiet, cool and reliable so far.

- Reliable - Large - Good value

These drives are rugged, dependable, and fast. I've been using them for years and they've never me a reason to 'complain'.

Price, performance & thermal factors. Its a Western Digital... Enough said!

Easy setup and easy copying

-Transfer rates are good - average a little over 200MB/s, drive to drive on the same LSI HBA on Unraid if it matters. -Temperature is good - average 30C in a 20C room during continuous transfer of files, about the same as a 6TB (WD6003FFBX), and about 5C lower than a 10TB (WD102KFBX). Idle temp is ~26C. This drive and comparables are in the same server/array. - Noise is relatively low, about the same as a 6TB and noticeably more quiet than the 10TB. - Cost per TB is good when on sale, very close to the largest 18-22TB rate.

I bought from newegg directly with sale price of 75$. - Product is totally new with seals. - It obvious, but I did not find signs of usage before, and all tests showing good results. - Write and read speeds pretty good, there is no lags while opening my files.

HUGE - MASSIVE - RELIABLE
