I've had this for a year now and no issues. I only use it for storage. I have an SSD for the system drive running Windows 10. I partitioned the drive into two 3TB partitions. One I use for user data and the other for "public" data. Still working. Still have lots of space left on both partitions. I actually replaced 2 older drives with this one, when I built this machine last year.

Great for my NAS configuration, and I figured out that the drive industry sizing gaff is kind of fixed with this model since 22TB (decimal) = ~20TiB (proper binary).

Arrived quickly, worked out of the box.

8tb hard drive that works

Quick. Cheap.

First off, I only buy from Newegg, don't trust the 3rd parties. I order two 16TB drives , two different times. When they were on sale. Second time they came damaged by not being packaged properly. I requested a refund and waited... Wait for it to come through, so I could order two fresh drives. By the time I received my refund, there was only one drive available, came packaged properly. So ,I've got 3 not 4 as I'd like. First pair are over a year old now, no issues, little start up time, not too loud. 3rd and newest drive is great! Will buy again.
