I used this drive to backup the data from a NAS before a full reformat. And then transferring all the data back. Worked flawlessly. All 7 terabytes of it. Very silent. It does run a bit hot and obviously the person who designed the case upright doesn’t have cats. I ended up hiding mine behind the monitor and wedging a book to it so it would not topple over. Call me paranoid.
