- A great upgrade from my 3900X - Very fast clock speed and big cache - Runs cool, idles at around 40 C and runs at 70 C at full load

Powerful beast. Chews up whatever I throw at it. Tests very well. Decent buy for the $. Runs cool with my 280mm AIO. New build with this powered up 1st try and has been running great ever since. Built in graphics.

Excellent performance. I have had zero issues. It has lots of single and multi-core power and it will likely chew up and spit out anything you throw at it. I upgraded from the first gen 16 core threadripper that was struggling under DX12 ray tracing, and it was a huge upgrade for me.

Windows 24H2 has a bug that can gimp the CPU Performance. High Performance power plan in Windows R23 score 39000. Ultimate Power Plan 40500. Has no issues maxing out a 7800XT You need to use CMD as admin to unlock the Hidden Ultimate Performance Power Plan. Google it faster at multicore than my 7970X3D and just as fast at lower resolution gaming.

Absolute workhorse Great gaming performance Good Temps for such a strong CPU

- phenomenal performance for price - easy to install

Easy to set up and use. Bonus, it came with a fan.

It has functioned flawlessly on a MSI Tomahawk MB with DDR 6000 CL 30 memory. Upgrade options down the road... Gaming performance has been a significant improvement over my previous 5600x.

More performance

i actually recieved this one un damaged, chip and packaging and even the shipping box

Stunned by how strong the integrated graphics chip is. Games run on par or better (depending on title) than a heavily overclocked 7600k/GTX1070 system, without a GPU installed. And it has an easy 50% overclock headroom. Installed an assortment of 30+ games so far, no issues or crashes at all. Temps are barely over 40C when gaming. (Remnant II)

Exactly what I wanted, good balance of price and performance

No too expensive at all Performs very well

This CPU flies! Overkill for gaming, but I love it! Doesnt use much power or get as hot as some other CPUs.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this. My last processor was AMD (bought in 2018) and it worked fine- just had to upgrade so my system could use windows 11. I do a lot of video editing and was just hoping for a little improvement in speed with this one- turned out it completes most things I do with video about 4 times faster than my old one.

running smoother on a than 10th gen and better performance for our 3090 ti

Boosts over 4ghz

It lives up to it's specs. I won't be overclocking this thing, so can't speak to that. It's easy to install - orient it correctly and just drops into place.

The multithreaded and single core performance is greater than most processors out there, but reviews are mostly about games, for other workloads like video editing it is unmatched. Every day us is also a breeze.

-Wow she runs fast in games
