Absolute beast even at stock! But even more so overclocked!
- Easy to apply - Works well on hot Opteron server CPUs
9600-series processors have improvements to the instruction set over the 7000-series and are generally more power efficient.
- Runs very cool under load (62c in my system). - Excellent productivity performance. - Good gaming performance (Not x3d, but expected) - Smoother windows performance when compared to 5900x.
I recently upgraded from an intel i7-7700k to the inteli7-12700kf. The 12700kf handles countless programs with ease and is super fast.
Super chill45°C idle, 55-63°C under load Beastlyhandles heavy tasks and gaming like a champ Silentbarely a whisper
High clock speeds High tread count Mine is rock solid
Fast, clocks to 5.3Ghz without any issue. Works with AM4 105W coolers. Easy install.
Easy install Good temps for such a thin heat sink All black Cool Master duh
It smashes my i5 11600k that i had in iracing an now i can upgrade gpu from 4060 to something more high end....
- Extreme value vs competition in not only raw game performance but power consumption - Modern hardware has made these new product line launches a lot smoother, was an easy bios flash to a first boot into windows vs some of the mess of the initial Ryzen launch I remember with my 1700x
Keeps cool and speeds are very high. Installed an MSI 240 mm water cooler for goodness sake. The HDMI output is great enough to run Outriders game in hard mode.
40000 in passmark
It's look cool with other case with RGB fans! can easily cool the high temp CPU but it was pretty good one It's came with thermal paste very neat!
- Fast and reliable processor - No hangs or glitches of any type running on ASUS X670E-E MoBo with G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RAM - The iGPU is quite good! Running my Gigabyte M32U 4K display at 60Hz no problem.
The processor is great! I already own one. I placed an order for another one by mistake.
I just put my new computer together yesterday, I was building with this Ryzen 9900X and the Radeon RX 9070 XT with 64 GB Ram at 6000 MHZ. I was upgrading from a 5600x and an RTX 2080 Super, the difference has been very noticeable. Everything is loading up faster and gameplay has been very smooth. I'm running a 240 AIO on this CPU and so far, the temps have been stellar. Idle, it's under 40c and while playing games it's sticking to about 60c.
Great efficiency and speed. Great temps and solid as a rock!
Luckily I like spending time tweaking my CPU. My benchmark scores and framerates really did not go up until I dialed in a good Core Offset, tuned the memory beyond EXPO's auto settings, turned off Core Isolation in Windows, downloaded Win 11 update KB5041587. I have not tried Win11 24H2 yet, and I am not running this with any version of Linux. Compared to my 7950x, I have way more throw with the Core offset. I can dial in a Core Offset beyond -25 with the 9950x, whereas my 7950x gets fussy when I try a CO beyond -5. The 9950x also doesn't run as hot.
Fast Decent temps
