Overclocks well Fast
This is one of the longest lasting thermal pastes for home use systems.
It makes programs run smoother and faster.
- Powerful for CPU bound games (sometimes 30-50% improvement over other current gen cpus) - Efficient and doesn't run as hot as other ryzen 7000 cpus. - 8 cores/16 threads is a nice upgrade for someone on a 4 or 6 core cpu. - Best gaming CPU overall.
- Within a few fps of a 12900k on most games and saving over $100 ain't bad - So much difference for my 11700K. Made it feel like I jumped 5 years - Can overclock very easily if you're into that - It's a beast
- Better than my previous i5-8400 - Now I can watch youtube on the side while gaming and not lag :)
Excellent option for those who a moving away from Intel due to recent problems
1% lows are amazing. Went from a RYZEN 9 3900x that didnt have the greatest 1% lows, to this. It became super stable.
Very good a cooling high watt cpus
-Upgrade increase was with asus tuf x670e plus wifi, 32gb 6k cl30 ram, and SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB -( Previous build was i5-4690k, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd ) -Same GPU 2070 in both builds -My Oldschool Runescape saw an fps increase from 40-90 fps while doing corrupted gauntlet to 240 fps 24/7 with no gpu upgrade -World of Warcraft dragonflight went from around 70 fps load to 170 fps load WITH massive increase of graphics ( im actually leveraging my 2070 go figure. ) ( not a surprise when upgrading from a i5-4690k ) -New World, dont even get me started, this game was a laggy messsssssssss and now with this monster of a CPU i no longer run on lowest setting i run on mostly high and get around 90-100 fps. -Apex legends had so many studder issues and wow I didnt know the dream of my 240 hz monitor and how smoother things are. -Emulating with this thing is now a dream come true. ( previously a nightmare ) -Hogwarts legacy is in the same boat wow that game is so much smoother, with higher settings getting around 100 FPS definitely heavily GPU bound on this game though but WOW it isnt a studder fest anymore. ( I cant put in words how much smoother the feel of every game is aside from the FPS increase, have a short anecdote below to try to describe it )
Worth upgrade over the 10900K that I replaced this with. Noticeable increase in FPS across the games that I play as well as productivity apps that I use
good processor, one of the best on the market,
Don't let the massive watts fool you! It is actually sometimes lower or even equal watt to Ryzen 5900x CPUs when playing games! Cooler than even Ryzen CPUs, love my NH-D15!
-Fast -Great OC capability -Great synergy with AMD products
-Easy to install -Really like the LGA socket on these new Ryzen chips -Great performance and I like the Eco mode for these chips
I know its not for gaming but boy it downloads fast, and has the ability to do anything k need in a snappy manner.
- fast - not expensive - easy to install very quiet stock heatsink/fan
I do a lot of video encoding, editing and artificial intelligence up-scaling and was getting frustrated at my NH-D15 chromax black literally not cutting it even with two fans and decent thermal paste (I tried multiple times to get good temps with mild overclocking and it constantly had issues). I popped this radiator on the roof of my Fractal meshify case and strapped on that AiO copper brick in less than 25 minutes. Unbelievably good temps now, we're talking 75 degrees OVERLCOCKED stable in handbrake for 4k content or down-scaling. Video editing has been breezier, and everything just seems a lot snappier. I'm not super sure why the Noctua gargantuan heatsink wasn't performing well, I was hitting 85 without overclocking on my 11900k and that wasn't even the highest I've seen it reach. Ridiculous! The 360mm is the way to go, and is barely louder than my front corsair intake fans. I was extremely surprised at how direct and simple the instruction manual was. I had no issues.
worked with no problems
Its very fast and fun
