works super fast even have an option to run a VPN service through the router very nice can create two different networks super nice those who are complaining of randominlgy losing wifi its because of a compatibility issue to the 802.something or other networking thingy which i have resolved just by switching to the 5ghz network you can see it when you set up your network.

I've purchased and installed 3 of these - at my house, my in-laws house, and my brother's house. So far, they have been absolutely fantastic routers for the price. I've done speed tests when I had fiber internet available, and seen actual speeds of 950/850 through the router, WIRELESSLY to my phone. Have options to turn on "bedtime" for different devices - so my kids lose their WiFi and are encouraged to go to bed after 11:00 PM. They support plugging storage devices right into the router, and the UI is very simple, and easy to use. The app is quite helpful as well. I have been pairing these as the "primary router" in the house, and use the BE230 as "Satellite routers". They work well as either mesh or backhauled with Ethernet. Speeds are (obviously) dramatically higher with a backhaul line.

Easy of use. Comprehensive and easy to manage user interface. Very good performance, and a very quickly increasing hardware/software portfolio. Integration with Ubiquti's vast array of gear, including the best by far integration with their POE cameras. Easy setup of VLans and Port Forwarding. Not quite as cheap as the junk routers out there, but vastly cheaper than the big boys who have nose-bleed prices with capabilities anywhere near as close.

Once setup, the router is excellent, however, I had to have a computer tech friend set it up, and it had its setup and communication difficulties before final operation...I never would have been able to connect the router myself.

We previously had an Asus RT-68U router which was excellent, but wanted to upgrade and have AX connections and WPA3 security. I was able to save a configuration file from the old router, then import it into the new router, and bang - everything worked! There are a LOT of options, but the configuration process is very well designed. For those who like to dig into all the settings, you can do everything you need to in a very clear user interface. Well done, Asus! Signal strength and reliability of connection is excellent everywhere in our home, even upstairs in the most distant bedroom (less than 100 ft.) through multiple walls. In my photo the router is on top of one of our surround speakers, so it's only the top part with the antennas. :-)

Didn't feel much improvement on speed on old devices with wifi6 however the signal is super strong way better than the wifi from Spectrum. It's lightweight and elegant. Love the design. Also the iPhone App is a big plus
