The U7 Pro Max works as expected. I plugged them into my network via POE, adopted them within the console, and waited for updates. No issues. FYI, real-world coverage is closer to 1000 sq ft versus 1500.

I was intimidated by the sophistication of the TP-Link Omada WiFi infrastructure. Instead, this unit came configured out-of-the-box as a single access point bridging its WiFi network to the wired LAN. There was no complexity and no port forwarding for external access. I used the TP-Link TL-SF1005P PoE switch to power it and the port priority feature of the switch.

Awesome overall AP...easy setup using built in controller and over a cell phone (didn't try the app, which maybe even easier), easy install, and best of all fast and reliable!
