The U7 Pro Max works as expected. I plugged them into my network via POE, adopted them within the console, and waited for updates. No issues. FYI, real-world coverage is closer to 1000 sq ft versus 1500.

The Unifi Mesh Pro offers many features to recommend it. Start with a weatherproof housing - it holds up to driving rain as long as the ethernet ports are sealed carefully. Wireless range is excellent. Other APs have strong transmitters; the Flex HD also includes a sufficiently sensitive receiving antenna that it can pick up the much weaker responses from your phone or other device at long range. The specs state a 600 foot range. Optimistic? Yes, of course. Nevertheless you can expect 300+ feet of useable WiFi coverage in most directions (see below). The 3x3 MIMO allows fast (>300Mbps) transmission to multiple devices simultaneously. A single device can get just under a Gbps download.

Easy setup GUI is simple to use So far no issues with signal strength (placed in a central location to limit this possibility)

Much better 5ghz and 2.4ghz range than ISP provided solutions. Plugged into network, TP link controller adopted it in less that 2min. Mesh and load balance work good with less than 40 clients.

easy to adopt (if you have a controller) Handles currently 25 devices with very low incidents.

- Good WAP overall - The range covers all my house (1 floor). - The speed is good (sufficient for me) - Plug and play - Reliable for the few moths Ive been using it

Super easy installation especially with the Ubiquiti CloudKey. Excellent cloud monitoring (again with the CloudKey). Lightweight. Reliable. POE meant it was not necessary to have a power outlet nearby which is very convenient.

I was pleasantly surprised with the performance for this price point. The small size and aesthetics are great as well. Wireless coverage is excellent outdoors. I installed it in a very large open backyard in the country using a 150's white 28AWG solid CAT6 cable and highly recommend this unit.
