The Crucial P310 is a great SSD for its price. This is a drive that boasts fast reads of up to 7,100MB/s and writes up to 6,000MB/s. This GEN4 NVMe is for PCIe-capable lanes and can be compared as 20x faster than a common SATA SSD. This drive is easy to install for anyone on laptops, consoles, and desktops. There are other options available in 500GB and 2TB. I tested this drive with a multitude of games, and the load times were quick and the games installed very fast. When tested, all the speeds match up (see picture). Overall, this is a great option for anyone looking for a well-priced, quick, and compatible NVME for their setup.

-Fast -Consistent -A steal at $159

- Was free in a bundle

Before I get to the pros, I want to mention I used this drive on a desktop, an Android phone and a PS5. I mention the later two as the performance of the drive was fantastic if you're looking to add on some quick and easy storage to your console and the fact that it works with your phone should you want a quick and easy way to backup or transfer media off. - As you can see in the pictures the drive is relatively small. My phone is a Galaxy S21 (~6 inches long) and you can see this drive is tiny by comparison making portability easy. - You can find plenty of generic benchmarks for the drive, but for my use I was transferring larger files off a desktop at ~800-850MB/s which is about as fast as the drive in that particular desktop can handle. - I copied over 2000 photos and videos from my phone to the drive in under a minute. - I moved over 3000 screenshots and video clips from our PS5 to the drive in under 3 minutes. Bottom line is no matter what you're looking to do, this drive is going to deliver in the speed department. - While not as fast as the internal storage that comes with a PS5, games ran flawlessly off it it. Great to add space to accommodate a larger gaming library rather than constantly installing/uninstalling things. - The casing is plastic but it's not flimsy/cheap. As in if you carried this around in your pocket you wouldn't be afraid of accidentally breaking it. - Stays cool during use.

easy and fast to install

Arrived ahead of schedule, well packaged; installation in a newish Lenovo basic laptop was almost as simple as plugging the 8gb memory stick I had installed previously. The laptop came with 4gb of ram, and a 128 card soldered in. Sucked, especially witn Win 11. Now, it screams right along, doing everything I ask for. I'm using TG SSD's in most of my equipment, which is mostly other peoples' castoffs, and haven't had a failure yet.

Bought this to put Windows 11 on. Works great and runs fast. Super easy to install.

- good packaging. - this is a single sided SSD (500 GB).

I replaced my sshd. With this one in my 2018 Asus FX504, and what a difference!!!! Very happy so far!!!

The 2TB Crucial P310 comes with a great quality heatsink and was easy to install in my motherboard's spare PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot. The 5 year warranty should bring peace of mind. Performance when the drive is nearly empty is great. Benchmark results are similar to my 2TB competitor's Pro version (which is half full), and faster in some tests. It's significantly quicker than my 2TB QVO SSD, as expected since that one is a SATA drive.

The specs that are listed are spot on!

Easy to install and set up, (Auto). Works as expected.

cheap great speeds

Being Gen 5 it makes a big differnece compared to Gen 3 and even Gen 4
