I had a 7200 2TB HDD in the laptop that took more than 5 minutes to boot Win7 Pro, with Diskeeper auto-defrag set. Replaced with this 2TB SSD drive and it now boots completely in under 15 seconds. I was not expecting that great of an improvement. I have a Samsung 2TB 860 EVO in my Plex media server (Win10 Pro) that's been written-to a zillion times (see image) so I don't expect to ever need to replace this 870 EVO boot drive in the laptop. The 860 EVO has been running 24/7 for about a year but the 870 has only been in the laptop for a few weeks.
