I like that the heatsink is optional. Speeds and the duration of disk performance are excellent, doesn't seem to bog down under load. I would highly recommend this as a performance drive.

Speed Quiet Easy install and format Solid construction

Only had the 4TB drive for a few weeks but it is performing admirably so far, and with a 5 Year warranty I have no worries for the future.

I've only had it for a day, but it seems pretty good. I bought it to fit in a Satechi Mac Mini M4 stand/enclosure. The speed of the SSD is limited by the enclosure (10 Gbs), so I can't say if it performs as fast as advertised. But the price is good and I know I'll have the extra speed if I put it in a faster enclosure.

For the price it works and provides the speeds as advertised which is like around 3.7 GB/s. Well see if I have any longevity issues like some of the lower reviews on here but installed today and speeds and temps are great thus far.

Price, name recognition

I have not yet used it much. I have transferred about 60 GB and happy. However I use many small files in my business so speed is much slower than if I was working with larger files. It does what I want it to without any problems, none have ever failed. I have numerous brands, sizes and type of Solid State Drives and all perform about the same due to the small files.

The Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD arrived from Newegg right on time and it took less than 30 minutes to install it. The 870 EVO replaced a 7 year old 4TB HDD storage drive that was beginning to make disturbing noises and now and then forced me to reboot to make it reappear when it refused to be accessed. Fortunately, I was able to copy everything over to the new drive without any drama. The 870 EVO is big and it's fast and like all my Samsung EVO drives I expect it will be reliable for many years. I do have my Plex media server on the drive and it performs perfectly across the home LAN to 4 HDTVs and 4 computers.

It got here quick and it works perfectly so far.

Easy install in my ASUS Rog Strix B650-A. Works perfectly in my M2 Gen 5 slot as the new OS drive. Cut cold boot time two seconds from seventeen to fifteen. Runs 41C using the factory ASUS heat sink - case is a Silverstone Grandia Series GD10B.

This is a excellent item as so far Samsung item have always been and the software support is great to. I will use this one in a laptop should work out great over all. Not much to add its still a great item I love them always work so far!!
