This 4th gen nvme drive from Crucial claims just over 7000MBps reads and let me tell you, it delivers on that. Same with 6000MBps writes. Construction is solid. The heatsink is big and keeps the drive running cool after hours of gaming. Coming from a slightly older nvme drive that's only 10-20% slower than this one the overall performance is hard to notice unless you're literally keeping a stopwatch to it. For example, loading a saved game from Red Dead Redemption 2 that took 38.6 seconds on my old drive took 35.4 with this one. So it won't be a huge game changer unless you're coming from a gen3 or older model.

Easy install, love that the PS5 has an internal PCI-e expansion slot. Love that the heatsink is pre-installed so I don't have to play with thermal paste. Read and write speeds are speedy as hell, had all 500 gigs of games transferred in 7 minutes and games are running smoothly with no frame drops. Looking forward to not having to delete stuff every time I get a new game and hopefully won't need to buy one with more storage space any time soon. Corsair has been a great brand in my experience, I like their ripjaws RAM as well. Would recommend to anyone who is disappointed with the stock 666 gigs on their PS5.
