-Great if you have spare m.2 chips that you want to access. -Small footprint means you can place it almost anywhere -Useful for backing up information with its quick read/write speed

Drive came in a nice clear plastic case and wrapped in Bubble wrap. The 4TB size is superb for an enterprise drive. Physically the drive looks like a standard 3.5” black and metal Seagate drive (but still nice!) The Formatted size with a single NTFS Partition was 3.63TB space available! This drive has SAS Performance and quality with energy efficiency + 6GBps! Here are some bench results: Using AS SSD (it was one I had available) Seq Read: 172.87 \ Seq Write: 170.85 (MBps) 4K Read: .80 \ 4K Write: 2.05 Acct Read Time: 11.927ms \ Acct Write Time: 1.877ms Using Crystal Mark3 @ 1000MB Sequential Read: 181.9 \ Sequential Write: 178.8

Very quiet, fast and reliable

18tb of storage is great

Stores. Up to 10 Tb.

I bought a couple of these drives for the purpose of Burstcoin mining. They work perfectly in a well ventilated case . No problems whatsoever.

Fits longer length Blu-ray Burners. Power adapter support 3A which is needed for Burners USB 3.0 Cable included Easy installation with all parts needed (mini screw driver and all screw plus extra 2) Case stays cool

Very fast array creation and initialization. SATA 6Gb/s and SAS 12Gb/s interface capability. Will happily confirm the array integrity after a sudden power loss, unfortunately had to do it a few times before I broke down and bought the LSICVM02 addon kit, another $200. Read and write speeds are pretty amazing on this controller and the rated I/O performance feels like it's there. SSD Guard feature ensures that TRIM is monitored and maintained.

This HDD has plenty of capacity for my security cameras. I switched from a 4TB to a 14TB and now I have months of video storage!

Good fit, easy install. Hardware was included. I used this mount to install an internal card reader in a 5.25" drive bay and it worked as intended.

No SMART errors, arrived well packed, quiet, fast (for a mechanical hard drive), appears to have good build quality, made in Thailand not China, enterprise grade, high MTBF, Hitachi Deskstar and Ultrastar drives have very low failure rates that tend to be around 1% according to the Backblaze data center study on 27,000 mechanical hard drives of various brands

- Value-wise, 6TB is a sweet spot - Fast

Small footprint fit under computer table on top of my desktop.

The Western Digital Elements Series drives are extremely flexible, have a fair amount of capacity per drive, and if you dont mind potentially voiding your warranty, you can remove them from the external enclosures and add them to your PC directly, or use them for most NAS boxes. Overall they are snappy enough to flow HD video and transport data pretty much anywhere. They also make great back up solutions for people on a budget.

WD says a lot about this product is that I own 18 WD hard drives. So far I have not hard one die on me. I have been using WD since 1985. Other brand hard drives did not make the journey with me since 1984. If that does not give you the security you need, I do not know what will, Nxow 12 TB is a lot of room so it gives me all the room to clean my other hard drives and it is in one place. This id avery good addition to my collection of Hard drives.

It does what it is supposed to. Seems to be a good quality product. It's very strong compared to some others I've used.
