I'm using fire port , using it for back ups for computers, plug it in and bang it reading , nice and small and easily hidden , love it .

Works with USB 3.1 Type A and Type C ports. Extremely fast transfer rates when connected to a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port. Heat sink works well to dissipate heat from the NVMe. Very easy to assemble.

Perform as advertised if tested on a real 20Gbps USB-C 3.2 Gen2 !!! ;-))) Tested with a Crucial CT1000P1SSD8 M2 NVME SSD Read 1857MB/s !! Very good quality short cable included (2) Tools for assembly included

Hot Swap works great, quick read on HDD and SSD

The case is very durable. I have a problem with all USB connections in that they just aren't built to last. The connection on this device is one of the best I've seen so far. It doesn't wobble easily like most I've had the disappointment to use. The connection is tight and I feel more confident I won't lose information due to a bad connection. The RGB lights are a nice touch and is a good reminder it is "connected". I have had no issues using it on Ubuntu Linux, Arch Linux, or Windows. I've installed a 1TB SSD drive in an identical case and have had no issues with the device. I purchased a 2TB drive for this case and will be installing it ASAP. If there is anything else that I need to mention as I start using this device I will update this review.

eSATA connection has a natural ability to boot, to convey SMART data, and achieve an as-if internal drive status. It's a pity that eSATA enclosures are becoming rare. Of the eSATA enclosures I've used -- including Fantec, Delock, Conrad, Raidsonic, Orico, AKiTio -- the NexStar has the best build quality and the best compatibility with a variety of HDDs, along with maximum performance.

-Short cable lets the adapter hang close to the port it's connected to. -Window on top (side with brand name) of adapter allows you to see the actual port for easier installation of NVMe

Super easy set-up! Plugged in and running in about 10 minutes Versatility

Easy method to combine an SSD and a case in one easy step. Inexpensive and somewhat attractive as you can see your SSD through the clear case.

Works good so far. Love the rubber case incase it drops. Like the concept of the screw less design.
