I thought I got the wrong one over the 9800x3d, but this thing is just as fast- and capable of so much more. I did get it on the doorbuster

P Cores run between 5.4 and 5.7 when doing stuff. E Cores always seem to run at 4.6 when doing stuff. Have it paired with a 5090 and a 9100 PRO M.2 NvME for games and boy to things load fast! Haven't noticed any of the speed degradation like those noted when it was first released. I ponied up for good RAM, too. 4x16 gig CAS Latency 30 @ 6400, the processors native RAM speed. Suer you can over clock the RAM but always aim for your sticks being at least as fast as the processors native controller supports. Went from a 10920x to this after holding out as long as I could. I do wish that they'd make an "X" version at some point, you just can't beat the quad channel memory and the 44 PCI-E Lanes.

As described by everyone else FAST AND POWERFUL . Runs cool with just a 2 fan air cooler

5.3ghz and 32 threads. Works great and once in the replacement board i can really test it speed andcpower.

This processor is crazy fast. No problems with this one. AMD is still the cheaper and in some cases faster option compared to other choices.

Price for single core performance, power consumption.

An excellent and powerful processor. I recommend it. The 265k is worth the price. Don't worry about the processor. It works perfectly. There is a program to overclock the processor from Intel. It's great.

ASUS has a BIOS update for most (all?) of their 400 series chipset motherboards that'll provide compatibility with a 5000 series CPU. So you can install without a mobo upgrade.fast, I've only had this much processing horsepower on my work engineer workstation, pretty cool to have that kind of power at home
