super quiet and easy to install some complained about the screws not lining up, but if you use the supplied mickey mouse screwdriver, you can poke in between the fan blades and tighten them. just make sure you start one side for a couple of turns, then do the same on the other before tightening both sides down.

Easy install. Mounted per instructions and used the Noctua heat sink compound just to try it, even though I had Arctic Silver on hand. Idles at 35°C with ambient room temp of 76-78°F in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case with 1 additional Noctua 120mm top fan. Running Corona Benchmark or CPU-Z stress test, CPU temp never gets above 67°C. CPU falls back to idle temperature within a minute after tests complete. No worries about coolant leaks. Brackets for a second fan are in the box. Included ball end allen wrench makes the install easy. Overall, quite pleased.

we are looking for the Intel cooling fan for LGA-1700 sockets, and yes this is it.. suprising that the unit arrived without the outer Intel box.. which would have the Intel Part number on it.. the boxes in the picture are from the actual processor. so the identification numbers on the box are for the CPU.. Searching the web for LGA-1700 Intel cooler fan the results are all but this one. I would like to know the part number of this FAN, other than that its a great fan.. not sure what the blue ring in the middle is ther for.?
