I put this CPU into an ASUS PRO WS W790E-SAGE (which replaced my ASUS AMD AM4 PRO WS X570-ACE ATX) workstation motherboard and it is blazing fast already with 16 cores, at the bottom-of-the-line: I can't imagine what the W7-3445 (20 cores), W7-3455 (24 cores), W7-3465 (28 cores), W9-3475 (36 cores) or W9-3495 (56 cores) can do. You need a 3 thousand series (ie Wx-3xxx) Xeon CPU to take advantage of many thing this motherboard offers, e.g. the three M.2 slots for example, and other things that the Asus Pro W790E-SAGE motherboard offers. This CPU fills that bill, allowing the buyer to take full advantage of the Asus W790E motherboard features.

Lots of outlets, a "master" power plug can shut power off to peripherals when the tower is off. Fit and finish seem very good.

Great value UPS for higher end machines or extra capacity. The LCD status display is a great feature as it gives you detailed status information on the unit no matter what you have it powering. So you can see you estimated runtime with the current load when it powering equipment other than a PC as an example. Plus the new method that APC has for connecting the internal battery is a great design improvement - no short cables to fuss with!

Small, sturdy design Nice looking face plate

Works well with RDIMM memory and an Epyc 9416 CPU that I had laying around.

clean nice finish affordable has some space

It's got a really nice black powdercoat finish. The thumb screws come in a sleek, contrasting chrome finish however I would have preferred if the threads were of a different pitch.

Works as advertised/expected
