Small, and simple. Plug in and it worked right away.

Sturdy construction. Pretty good quality cables - good for connecting 2 computers at a single desk (you aren't going to connect across a room with these). Keyboard emulating options are cool and plentiful - but I don't use them. Very easy setup - followed the instructions no issues. Video quality is the same (this was the most important factor for me). Keyboard and mouse response are the same (also important for me). Worked switching my Win7 gaming rig and my macmini. Not an audiophile so can't speak to that - put quality great for my single input speakers and subwoofer.

KVM ships with cables, works well with Linux, lowcost, no problems running 1600x1200 in Tru color mode. I like the hot-key capability. At suggestion of TrendNet rep, I am using undocumented <numlock><numlock> to hotkey from system to system. (The standard hotkey <scroll-lock><scroll-lock> does not seem to work properly in Linux).
