It does exactly what it says on the box! Works perfectly, very little delay in switching from machine to machine. I have a Win7 and XP machines connected and its faultless.

Fast switching between my gaming rig (with GSync, to a ROG Swift) and my Surface Book (work).

works perfect in multi dvr enviorment

A few issues with mouse/keyboard in BIOS/DOS environments. SeaTools in UBCD will not recognize mouse, but keyboard works. Of course, DOS doesn't officially support USB, so I can't blame TrendNET. Every so often (maybe once a week at a full-time computer refurbishing job) I'll have a port "go bad" where any computer you plug into it will never recognize and initialize the USB device. A quick power-cycle fixes things. By far the cheapest 8-port USB KVM available anywhere, even including cable costs.

Simple operation, easy install, no brainer to use - just push the button of the PC you want to be active. I have used this with XP Home, Vista 32-bit & 64-bit, and Ubuntu Linux -- all with Logitech, Aopen, and HP wireless keyboards/mice at various times. No glitches, just works. This is at the heart of my network/PC operations - I've been using for 10 month's at about 16 - 18 hours a day now and not a single operational error. Also, can get rack mount brackets (which I did, but NewEgg I don't think stocks?) for a rack mount set-up -- perfect 1U mounting. If you can live without hot keys and need more than 2 PC's BUY THIS UNIT!
