This type of gizmo is new to me but I love this thing. No problems at all so far. I set up a dandy little network with a P3 as my printer server and to do other little tasks. For what I use it for, it's great! For the cost I'd much rather have this than a USB to parallel cable that may or may not work (going by the reviews). But then again, I have surplus old computers kicking around.

Fast switching between my gaming rig (with GSync, to a ROG Swift) and my Surface Book (work).

works perfect in multi dvr enviorment

We've had the older version of this KVM on our tech bench for about two to three years now and it's been great. We just added the TK-803R to the other side of the bench to extend our repair capabilities and it works great.

The KVM switch itself is made out of metal and is great quality. I have used this brand before (and a few others) but Starview makes the best product. The Starview switch that I used in the rack at my old place of employment was still going strong after more than 10 years so I bought one for the rack we have here. The lights on the buttons are easy to understand and the single USB/VGA cords are a nicety.
