- Formatted cleanly and no errors on extended drive test. - Added to existing array cleanly. - Have been consistently getting 6+ years out of IronWolf drives in 24x7 RAID environment for media server.

Worked as advertized

Big Best bang for buck value Quiet. I've read reviews whining about noisy hard drives in NAS boxes. My NAS is currently on my desk. I can hear the drive working but they are not loud.

Added to Unraid array with no dropped sectors.

Good price

They work pretty much as advertised. I bought 5 for a 4 disk array (1 as a spare.) For a ready nas 2100. They hot swapped wonderfully. 1 was bad out of box and they took care of me. Quite pleased.

Been running 24/7 in a synology nas for 8 months now. Not a hitch, drive is very quiet and was priced well for 3GB of reliable storage.

Update: New drive works great; I have about 2OTB stored and filed away for safe keeping. back to 5 stars, fast replacement turnaround.

These worked perfectly out of the box, as usual.

I had a NAS drive fail. Was having a battle with the vendor and HDD manufacture about a warranty replacement. I bought this to quickly (new egg shipped it immediately) resolve the issue until I sorted things out with the manufacture and vendor. Still not sorted out after a couple of weeks of back and forth, but good news is this drive is working great.

Unlike the X16's I bought in 2022, the X18 I bought to replace one of those failed X16's actually comes with a 5-year warranty.
