For the past year we have been using this once a month with a 16TB drive to replace tape drive backups of an Ubuntu server - takes less than 10 hours to write almost 4.5 TB over a USB 3.0 connection (one drive holds 3 monthly backups). No issues yet.

1. Small footprint; 2. Easy to use - typical plug and play; 3. USB C to USB A adapter - crucial for desktops with USB C port at the back (like mine) or laptops without USB C port(s): 4. USB 3.0 - relatively fast data transfer; 5. Nicely shaped, neutral colour, unobtrusive - very elegant design; 6. REASONABLY PRICED - a rarity these crazy days!

Nice case design, nicely manufactured and finished. Ease of assembly. Holds up to 36 TB. Name another enclosure that does that.

Newer version Faster than first gen @ 10Gps sleep mode to save power Easy to install USB 3.1

- Great solution for legacy CD/DVD media, as most new PC's and Laptops no longer support it. - Well constructed - Easy to assemble - Looks great - Plug and play, no issues

Small footprint fit under computer table on top of my desktop.

Has a fan switch that can be turned on and off. There are times when the room has to be as silent as possible and other hard drive enclosures with automatic fans can be extremely noisy, this one you can turn the fan on and off as needed. Holds 4 drives Great for backup drive

-Excellent construction -Comes with a screwdriver -Works perfectly well with my 8TB HDD

- quality build - easy to assemble with all required screws, screw driver, and high end cable - each device can loop through to another

I use the docking station to move from a PC with 6 drives to a iMac 5k. To my surprise all the PC drives 3T and 4T were instantly available on the mac as well as all the files and photos! I can have both mac and pc drives in the doing station at the same time. I can pop in the drives I need when I need them. What a difference in transferring from a mac to PC which I did 3 months ago. That was an experience that no one should have to undergo!

Works with all NVME SSDs I have tried. Samsung, HP, Plextor, and Hynix. Very fast. Saturates USB 3.0 and 3.1 speeds. Comes with 3.0 and 3.1 cables.

I purchased this Jan 30, 2014 so That I could format and install Windows 7 Pro on a spare laptop hard drive. Worked great. I now have it connected to my desktop and am using it for backup. It currently has a 1 TB drive and works great. I would recommend this to anyone that has both 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives and may want to interchange them between laptop and desktop. I have 2 old Windows XP systems and don't have a clue what is installed on the hard drives, but with this product it will be a piece of case to find out.

Works good so far. Love the rubber case incase it drops. Like the concept of the screw less design.
