I use my Cloud Alphas for gaming, streaming movies, and listening to music. They perform beautifully for each. Exactly what I was hoping for in a headset. Directional sounds in games are clear. The mic provides a clear sound and masks background sounds - per friends and family I asked when using the headset for the first time. I like that the mic is removable, so it is not in my way when watching movies or just listening to my favorite playlists. And I can wear the headset for hours of game play without feeling the discomfort I experienced with my old headset. Movie sounds from dialog to explosions are sharp. But, more important for me, is that the headset also shines when listening to music. I listen to a range of music from classical to blues to rock to metal, and the headset holds its own from highs to lows.

Purchased this headset for my son since one of his classmates has the same headset. He recommended that we should try. It is very comfortable and lightweight. The battery life is really convenient and charges pretty fast. According to my son he also likes the microphone since he talks to his classmates after school on the google meet. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

- Not having a cord to limit movement or trip on is nice - The pull-down mic is a nice touch, and it has turned on and off reliably so far (less than a month, though, so don't assume anything there) - The range is decent but not amazing. I didn't know what to expect, but I can only travel a small portion of my house without losing signal. It's still a much better range than a wired headset, and it's no issue for using it with my desktop, but I tend to lose signal even one room away

Comfort. Upgraded from a Ps4 Gold wireless headset. Glad I did. Clearer voice than my previous headset. Earcups are heavenly soft, wish the top head cushion was made of same material though. Hours of wear no problems. Solid construction even though relatively light. Braided cord. Looks great. Great price with the usb sound card gift. I Like the Usb connectivity with it. (Why not include it standard?) Detachable microphone. Not sure if thats a standard or not, but thought was handy. 7.1 Surround sound rocks. Barely use my Logitech THX speakers anymore. I love Newegg shipping. 3.5mm connector disconects from head set. Cable management win if you travel. Comes with a Hyper x cloth storage bag.
